Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned or thinly sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- 1/4 teaspoon Bald Buck Seasoning
- 2 green onions, chopped (optional)
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions:
- Mix the chicken slices with the soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the vegetable oil and let it get hot.
- Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken to the pan. Stir-fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes until it’s fully cooked and slightly browned. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry them for about 30 seconds until you can smell the aroma. Then, add the bell peppers, carrot, and broccoli. Continue to stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Return the chicken to the pan. Add the oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, chicken broth, and Bald Buck Seasoning. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and everything is well coated.
- Sprinkle the dish with chopped green onions if you like. Serve your stir-fry hot over cooked rice or noodles.
